Tax-Efficient Investing - VCT, EIS and IHT schemes explained

Date: Friday 16th January 2015
Time: 8:30am to 9:30am (light breakfast served from 8am)
Venue: MyHotel, Brighton
Cost: Free
CPD: 1 Hour
Max. number of spaces: 10

This free seminar will explore HMRC supported VCT, EIS and IHT schemes and why they are becoming increasingly popular as part of an individuals investment portfolio and tax-planning process. The structure and types of each scheme will be outlined including an update on rules and tax-reliefs offered.

There has been an increasing appetite for mainstream tax-efficient investments especially since the introduction of the General Anti-Abuse Rule (GAAR) and we will look at why they have had such strong support from consecutive UK Governments for nearly 20 years. The seminar will also include a presentation on establishing EIS and SEIS schemes and how new and existing qualifying businesses can raise investment using the generous tax-reliefs on offer.
